First weekend in October..

My weekend was spent with friends, and being productive. I was able to relax and get myself out of the Wartburg bubble.  Here is a short version of what my weekend looked like. 


Friday night was spent on-duty. I accomplished allot of homework, and some of my RA duties stuff (CD log and bulletin board).  Pretty basic evening-nothing to report of.

Saturday I was able to get off campus to relax and forget the stressful semester that is currently engulfing my life. Amanda, Amy and I headed to Cedar Falls/ Waterloo to pick up some pro dress outfits. While on the way we were able to have some fun.  This was filled with photos, laughs, and some pretty good food.  It was  able to pick up some the items I needed  a few tops, my exercise ball, new sheets for my bed. I had an enjoyable time.  Here are some photos from that afternoon with the ladies.

While shopping in Waterloo we found these formal dresses that had not been picked for the formals around town. Amy and I decided to put on the dress and take a few photos.

WE then found our selfs into JCPenny's with a whole section of dresses.  WE picked three different dresses, One only fit on our leg, one Amy wouldn't take a picture while wearing, and this one that has more detail than the picture shows.  It really was not a pretty sight.  

Our true thoughts on the dress are :  

I insisted on going to Target-while in Target Amy picked up a mask. While I was walking by the bikes I hear from behind me " KAYLA, It is really hard to scare you when you keep walking away from me! GOSH!" Oh Amy. I heart you.   Maybe next time we can pick up some dresses we can wear. ;D

We gathered our things, and as we were checking out- we found a friend. Julie Pauley.  She was helping someone at the photo desk- and was shocked to see us.  After a big hug, we let her get back to her work.  We continued on our way back to Wartburg.

Sunday was filled with Sunday Brunch- working on minimal homework, and a slight nap. First full week of October here we come.

 I would just like to point out that I have no exam in Biology this week. What ever shall I study for?  I have on presentation in one class, and several meetings. I meet for my Senior Exit  meeting. Is it time for Outfly yet?  Yes PLEASE!

Next weekend- Iowa City, IA. T-minus- 5 days.
